Britney Spears Takes the Stage in Las Vegas!

 

Making her much-awaited return to the stage, Britney Spears offered up a comeback performance in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (March 25).

Held at Rain nightclub inside the Palms Hotel & Casino, the pop princess was all business as she worked the stage with her dancers while performing three songs for a crowd of nearly 700 fans in attendance.

Among the highlights, a scantily clad Spears belted out her hit single "Hold It Against Me" while giving a smooch to one of her backup dance team members in the midst of the song.

Being taped for an MTV special airing next week, Britney also treated the audience to renditions of "Big Fat Bass" and "Till the World Ends".

With the show coming just ahead of the March 29th release of her new album Femme Fatale, Miss Spears tweeted just before the gig's kickoff, writing, "Can't wait to take the stage again at midnight...." She added, "Pumped! Here we go people... -Britney"

Spears revealed these and other interesting tidbits to Us Weekly for their regular "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" feature, also admitting a preference for orange sherbet ice cream and Adele's new album.

Britney Spears is something of an enigma these days, despite her reemergence into the public eye. She hasn't given an in-depth live interview in years, and tends to avoid discussing herself and her private life. Still, Britney didn't mind dishing on beau Jason Trawick (she made the first move) and the loves of her life—her sons Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4.
